Seems Like Yesterday, But It Was Long Ago…

I’ve written before about how music can be a powerful trigger of grief, and, without adequate preparation, a trigger of unnecessary suffering. For me songs from the mid- to late-80s (when Leah and I were first married) can be especially powerful triggers.

The title of this story, of course, comes from one of those songs, “Against the Wind” by Bob Seger.
