Turning Pages

I recently saw a motivational meme online that compared living life to reading a book, in that you can’t find out what happens in the next chapter without turning the page.

I would even take this comparison a step further for those of us who are grieving — just because you turn a page, or even go through multiple new chapters, doesn’t mean you EVER forget what was in the book before.

I also think that this analogy meshes well with what I have written about before, that living whilst grieving isn’t “moving on from”, but more “moving forward with”, your grief. [I think I first saw…
